4.dan, Instructor

I started training in Shotokan karate in 1984, with Sensei Francis Scoltock at the University College Hospital Karate club in London; my gradings up to 1st kyu were with Senseis Enoeda and Ohta (https://www.jka-england.org/ohta-sensei/) at Marshall Street in London. Following my relocation to a job in Nottingham, I trained with Sensei Pasq Mura (https://chilwell-karate.co.uk/), grading from first to fourth Dan with Hanshi Shiro Asano (https://www.facebook.com/SKIGreatBritain/).

I continue to train regularly and enjoy the practice of karate.

As well as karate, I trained in Jiu Jitsu with the Jiu Jitsu Foundation, and in Shudokan Aikido.
