The next JKS Finland one-day karate seminar & grading is organised 9.5.2026.

For all JKS Finland members: adults and children. Children and adults are included in all classes.
Theme
Theme of the seminar is: basics and foundations
Price
- Seminar price is 20 euro
- Grading price is 30 euro
- If you are grading, participating the seminar is mandatory and the price all together is 50 euro (except beginner’s course – if you are doing the first belt test from white to yellow, belt test is included in the basic course price.)
- The price is payed when you are registering to the events at Suomisport.

At the JKS Finland dojo. (Mekaanikonkatu 17, 2nd floor)
Grading
- The grading in this seminar is adults only. Junior belt test will be held separately outside the seminar in the classes. Sammy Sensei will notify about the date in Juniors Whatsapp-group.
- Note that if you are planning the grade, please contact any of the instructors well in advance.
- There will be mandatory grading event at the dojo 2 weeks before the seminar and grading. If you are grading, you need to participate the pre-grading event at 24.4.2026 11.00 – 13.00.
Seminar schedule
- 09:00 – 09:15 (15 minutes): Registration
- 09:15 – 10:00 (45 minutes): Kihon + Kata + fun (Sensei Sammy children) and (Sensei David Adults)
- 10:00 – 11:00 (1 hour): Kumite (Sensei’s Jeff and Sammy)
- 11:00 – 12:00 (1 hour): Lunch (bring own lunch)
- 12:00 – 13:00 (1 hour): Kihon + Kata (Sensei’s LL and Jari)
- 13:00 – 13:30 (30 minutes): Bunkai (Sensei Jari)
- 13:30 – 14:00 (30 minutes): Spirit building and bag work (Sensei’s David and Ben)
- 14:00 – 16:00: Grading
Registration
Registration for the seminar and grading is mandatory.
